Senior Technical Consultant IT Infrastructure

WHAT MAKES YOUR JOB EXCITING

• Consulting and supporting our customers in the implementation and maintenance of compute and infrastructure solutions, particularly VMware vSphere and Cisco Blades & Fabric Interconnect.
• Conducting comprehensive infrastructure analyses to identify vulnerabilities, uncover performance bottlenecks, and highlight optimization potential.
• Developing and implementing customized solutions for automating infrastructure processes to maximize efficiency and scalability.
• Creating technical concepts, roadmaps, and architecture designs for our customers' infrastructure.
• Collaborating closely with customers, project teams, and other departments to understand requirements, develop solutions, and successfully carry out implementations.
• Continuously enhancing expertise in the areas of compute, infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and automation.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

• Successfully completed university studies (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent vocational qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in the field of compute/infrastructure with a focus on VMware vSphere and Cisco Blades & Fabric Interconnect.
• Solid knowledge in the design and implementation of virtualized infrastructures, cloud technologies, and automation tools.
• Experience in developing architecture designs and technical concepts for complex infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to present technical solutions in a comprehensible manner.
• Very good command of English written and spoken - German language skills a definitive plus.
• Strong customer orientation and the ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently and results-oriented
