Operations Specialist – Group Internal Projects
As Operations Specialist – Group Internal Projects (GIP) you will support the effective delivery of our internal projects by enabling project managers with standards, tools, insights, and governance. You act as a central point of expertise for project management methodologies, reporting, and PM/PPM tool operations, ensuring transparency, consistency, and data quality across the project portfolio; responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Guide and support Project Managers in the consistent application of project management standards, including planning, forecasting, risk and issue management, and status reporting
- Deliver onboarding sessions and ongoing training for Project Managers on project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Ensure the consistent adoption and continuous improvement of defined project management standards and methodologies across all internal projects.
- Operate and administer PM/PPM tools (currently MS Azure DevOps), including configuration, integrations, and user support.
- Prepare and maintain regular project and portfolio reports, status dashboards, and KPIs; support the preparation of decision and recommendation papers for management.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of project and portfolio data and all related reporting.
Your Talents:
- Higher education, preferably with an IT degree
- Solid experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project support role, ideally in a multi-project or portfolio environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid), with the ability to translate them into practical guidance.
- Hands-on experience with PM/PPM tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, MS Project, Jira, or similar), including configuration and reporting.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proven ability to create clear dashboards, KPIs, and management-ready reports.
- Experience in delivering trainings, onboarding sessions, or workshops to project managers or stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Feeling comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Very good command of English - German language skills (as a plus)
